If you want to solicit ideas from your customers, your constituency or the general public, Public Jenni is for you.

Public Jenni idea management web service includes all the features of Jenni idea management, but is optimised to collect ideas from any large group of people. Jenni Public includes two interfaces..

Public Interface

The public interface can be configured in several ways, the standard configuration designed for open use includes these features..

• Anyone can look around, browse ideas and learn more about your ideas campaigns (we call them "creative challenges" in the public implementation). If someone wishes to submit an idea, build upon an idea or network with other users of your public Jenni, she must register by filling in a form.

• Unregistered visitors can only see a limited amount of information and cannot access any user information. Registered users can see more information, however e-mail and contact information is not visible on the public interface.

• Registered users can subscribe to creative challenges in order to receive e-mail notifications of new ideas; they can also subscribe to ideas so as to be notified when people build upon ideas. The can cancel these subscriptions at any time using Jenni's notification management tool.

• Registered users can submit images and web links with ideas. However, to protect you against viruses, Public Jenni typically does not permit the upload of documents with ideas.

Idea Management Interface

The idea management interface is only open to you and your colleagues. The idea management interface allows you to..

• Further develop ideas submitted by the public. Thus you can creatively determine how to implement ideas or integrate them with your current activities.

• Evaluate ideas by peer review.

• Do SWOT analyses of ideas by peer review.

• Assign other forms of testing or development of ideas.

• Generate reports.

• Archive the entire campaign for future reference.

Your public Jenni can be set up in one of three structures..

1. As a web site interlinked with your corporate web site so as to provide a continuous web experience for your customers.

2. As an independent creativity and innovation web site.

3. As a Facebook application on the Facebook platform, thus allowing any of Facebook's over 40 million users to share ideas as a seamless component of their Facebook experience. Read more about Jenni on the Facebook platform.
