Jenni on Facebook Module

Are you considering crowdsourcing as a means of involving the public in your innovation dialogue? If so, why bother creating an all new social networking and idea submission tool when you can tap into the biggest social network on the planet with a proven idea management tool? Jenni's newly updated Facebook module provides you with a focused idea submission tool that sits on the Facebook platform and allows Facebook users to share their ideas about your products and services.

With the new Jenni on Facebook module...

  • You can invite Facebook users to submit ideas in response to specific innovation challenges -- this aligns idea generation with your innovation goals rather than the whims of the public.

  • Facebook users can share their ideas with you, collaborate on each others' ideas and give lightbulb ratings depending on how creative they think ideas are.

  • Facebook users can see illustrated announcements (see above) when their friends submit ideas to your Jenni on Facebook. This quickly propagates news of your innovation initiative and encourages wide-spread participation.

  • You can give away virtual and real rewards to participants, motivating the Facebook community to become involved and promoting your products at the same time.

  • You and your colleagues can evaluate, develop and implement ideas behind a firewall and out of sight of Facebook users, thus providing you with necessary confidentiality when developing ideas into implementable concepts.

  • You can make full use of Jenni's top notch idea evaluation tools that streamline the idea review process, ensuring you identify the most value-rich ideas with the least resources.

  • You can generate great publicity as a company that communicates through the world's most popular social networking site.

Your Jenni on Facebook module will be custom built with full branding (you don't even need to call it Jenni), virtual rewards in line with your products and a style that reflects yours. What Is Crowdsourcing?

Crowdsourcing is a form of open innovation that taps into the wisdom of the crowds.

Open innovation is about bringing into your innovation process people from outside your organisation. Being outsiders, they bring to the process fresh new ways of thinking and solving problems.

Jenni is already used as an open innovation tool by many of our clients who use our idea management software together with suppliers and even customers. However, this is always in a very controlled and closed system in which only invited outsiders participate.

Crowdsourcing, on the other hand, is about inviting everybody and their grandmothers into your innovation process. As a result, it is particularly effective for business to consumer companies, charities and government bodies that wish to include the public in their innovation dialogues.
