Your privacy is very important to Dr. Ecommerce and the team and we make every effort to maintain that privacy.

When you browse the Dr. Ecommerce site, our servers make note of your Internet host only. This information is used for statistical analysis only and no attempt is made to identify individual users or individual behaviour. Our servers are not capable of registering your email address.

If you send a question to Dr. Ecommerce, either by filling in the form or sending an email, we ask that you include your real name and email address so that we can respond directly to you. If your question is published on our web site, we will only use your first name or your initials or a nickname that you indicate. We will not use your family name or publish your email address unless you explicitly ask us to do so.

Your emails are saved on our local network which is completely separate from our web site's server. In the very unlikely event someone hacks into our web site, they would have no access to your personal data.

If your question is referred to an expert, we will strip off your family name, e-mail and any other identifying information. Although we trust our experts, your privacy is sacred.

Change: At present, the "Ask Dr. Ecommerce" service is undergoing a transition and a new Dr. Ecommerce will be taking over in July 2001. During the transition period, questions with full contact information are being sent to the new Dr. Ecommerce team for training purposes. However, the new team has agreed to comply with all privacy rules on this page.

There are on drecommerce.com many links leading to other resources on the world wide web. Once you leave the drecommerce.com domain, this privacy policy is no longer applicable and you should read the new site's privacy policy.
