Dear Dr. Ecommerce

How can we sell to other countries via the net?

Cécilia

Dear Cécilia:

Dead easy. Put up a web site selling your products, promote it and you can sell to other countries. Once your web site goes on line, anyone anywhere with an Internet connection can access it, learn about your products, see your offers and purchase your products. The real challenge, of course, is getting people to your web site in the first place. That requires marketing.

If you are selling to an international customer base, it makes sense to translate your web site into several languages. On the other hand, if you don't want to ship your products internationally, make it clear on your web site that you cannot accept international orders.

Good luck,

Dr. Ecommerce
