I'm student of an IT faculty. Now I'm studying e-commerce and I want to become a e-commerce application designer. Beside technique knowledge, I wonder if I have to study economic ( for example : pay up,..).

Economics would be useful to know. Even more important,
however, is understanding the business of e-commerce, not just in
terms of applications, but also marketing, customer service,
usability, etc. The more you know about the business of e-
commerce, the better you will be at designing applications for e-
commerce. Moreover, you will find that clients and bosses who tell
you what they want will not always have in-depth technical know-
how. This makes it all the more important that you can understand
their needs and develop a good solution.
