Dear Dr. Ecommerce:

What resources/services does the EU offer to assist a non-EU company in finding, selecting and contracting with EU-based licensees, distributors, franchisees or joint venture partners?

Our company operates one of the world's largest merchandise trade exchanges, matching exporters in 27 Industry verticals with buyers from around the world. Our origins, and greatest depth today is in Asian sources, but we are now expanding our base in the EU, offering EU-based exporters a tremendous marketing and growth opportunity. We seek local partners to assist in this process.

Peter

Dear Peter:

To the best of my knowledge, the European Commission and other institutions do not provide any such services or resources.

I expect the chambers of commerce would be a better means of finding suitable partners. If you want to take a pan-European approach, check out Eurochambers, . If you want to take a country by country approach - I suggest you contact the commercial offices of relevant embassies for chambers of commerce contact information.

Good luck,

Dr. Ecommerce
