What is SET and is it the new standard?

Hello Dave:

"The SET™ Specification is an open technical standard for the commerce industry developed by Visa and MasterCard as a way to facilitate secure payment card transactions over the Internet." I quoted that off http://www.setco.org/. I suggest you pay a visit for more information on SET.

Because MasterCard and Visa are behind SET, I would personally say it has a very good chance of becoming the standard for credit card transactions.
