Starting with an MSc in Process Engineering, Erik has led a varied career with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurism. This was followed by research and marketing work at DSM, project and marketing management at Arkema Group and providing business advice to the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs over a period of 15 years.

In 2000, he identified and supported the growth of new businesses for the Business factory for two years before co-founding Mosaic Systems, a biotechnology firm.

In 2007, he decided to focus on innovation itself and founded Two Stone Innovation in order to deliver his expertise to businesses in Holland, Belgium and Finland.
